New York native Kathy Fleischmann is a photographer whose work focuses on musicians performing live, particularly indie artists as well as B.B. King, Michelle Branch and Ziggy Marley. She is a staff writer/photographer for the Long Island based grass roots music paper, Aural Fix and freelances for the Northeast publications, Good Times and L.I.E. (Long Island Entertainment). Although photography is one of Fleischmann's true passions, her long time love is music. She has been a performing singer/songwriter since 1986 and has accomplished two mini-tours of London clubs and released four CD's. She currently plays regularly in the Northeast.
